Beru clay modeling

For first time modeling a berubara it's not too bad...taking in count the size of the sculpture, its just 9.5". 

When I was doing the head I realized that I should have made it a little smaller. I was struggling with the facial parts. My eyes got tired due to the small mouth. I see her head is not as delicate as I planned😪  it's a big head Oscar!  Her chin is not pointy and sharp, something wrong in the color of the eyes.

I noticed I criticize myself  😆 but let's be realistic: If I never know my mistakes, how can I improve? ....so if you find more little mistakes please feel free to let me know in the comments! 

I'm sure the next one will be better💪

Remembering the days of fashion drawing. This clothes design was a modification of Oscar's military uniform. I tried to make it with a French sexy touch.😁

A cover

I love pannels distribution and managing characters in a cover! I'm more knowledgeable of graphic storytelling than digital painting. However, I like challenges. In fact,  there's more challenging illustrations in this blog than my comfort zone drawings.😅 it may seem strange but I am like that.

 Versailles in the background...usually backgrounds can tell us more about a story...just it's just a matter of being a little observative. I love backgrounds although I don't do it well. 

Monsieur Girodelle

 If you're asked for what would you choose the best: Love or passion? What would be your choice? For a better understanding we must know the meaning of both, but in my humble opinion, there's a key word which makes it different: unconditional. Despite of the type of Love, no matter what, Love is unconditional and long lasting. Passion? it's fire and it burns. It's inevitable.

However, can love and passion go together? you may know the answer.

 Lately I've been looking back in time when I was organizing my little studio...there are tons of drawings.   Through the files and archives of drawings, memories come and go. Just trying to not stay too long in the past. This is a present work, how it looks?

Before the party

I can imagine how difficult it should have been to get dressed with the tight corsette, metallic armature/skirt underwear, a very daring neckline and those high heel shoes. It was really challenging for a woman who only wears pants. All what love makes in a woman's heart.

Finally I have time for posting a beru drawing! I planned to make it as soon as came from New Year's trip. However, I started to work and I was busy 'til friday.
Now that I'll be at home all March due to the Corona virus, I will have more time for drawing and doing some Art. Here's one I finished painting today. Nothing like a refreshing bath!

Piano or violin?

Piano. Oscar plays violin in the Manga however, I see her more with piano... But there was piano in the 18th century France? Harpsichord was the instrument played at that time in Versailles.
It's very fancy to see her playing piano. It suits her. Don't you think so?
