The 2025 rose

 The new Versailles rose movie is soon to be premiered. This is a fresh interpretation, with a very "modern" character design. It seems that the location background is wonderful and with full of digital effects. As long as they bring back the Rose of Versailles to screen again, I feel happy. These new generations who did not have the opportunity to watch or read this master work, now will enjoy the beauty of the captivating fictional/historical story and maybe one day someone decides to make a Hollywood movie of it. You never know!

Whether we like it or no, it's good that Versailles Rose is blooming again in the memories of her fans and maybe blowing a curiosity seed in the heart of the youth.

I can't wait to watch it soon!

An old drawing

 I was looking back my old files and I found many drawings, some made me laugh because of their lack of anatomy, some got me gladly surprised, because with even basic drawing, it had some dynamics, movement and harmony in the lines. This is one of those. Although the lines are all messed up, it still conveys some action, well at least, it is to me. Voilà!

These last months were really hard. Covid virus hit me very hard, that I was not drawing at all, stopped working for a week - even after a week, not feeling well, I had to work- but it's OK.  I'm still in the recovery process. Somedays are better for me... This was one of this days....

 An emotional love confession from a man in love. I honestly think that when love is so strong, it crosses borders, places and time. When this happens, we can't find answers to strange events in our lives. It just happens... And we feel everywhere that person from our past life, in the look of a pet, in the breeze, in the rain, in a song...it's so unexplainable and the heart feels nostalgic.
